reflection of Fahrenheit 451 part 2

In the second part of the book, Montag ask a proffesor, Faber for help. Montag wanted to read books to find out why he was not happy, they also came up a plan to destroy the system of burning books. Later, Montag recited a poetry when his wife and his wife's friends were at his home. Which was a big problem. At the end of the section, the fire truck stop at his house, Montag was shocked. I'd read through Sparknotes, and O funf something interesting is there was a part when he went back to the fire station, he washed his hand because he felt guilty, it is similar to Shakespeare's play, Lady Macbeth, feeling they are gloved in blood.

reflection of Fahrenheit 451

I finally finished the first part of Fahrenheit 451!! The author, Ray Bradbury, is good at using figurative language with really hard vocabularies. But actually it is a really interesting story! It is about New York in the future, when they have TV screen around their house, with TV shows that talk to you, people just sit in front of the TV all day. Books became illegal, the government make firemen burn books, because they think books kill happiness. It is fun to found out that some things in the book is now invented. Last, I recommend this book:)

Trip to Malaysia and Singapore

This will be the most unforgettable graduation trip for me! To go abroad with my friends, and with all of the 9 graders. We spent seven days in Malaysia, and visited the national park for two days. We went into the rain forest, and saw many animals and plants that I'd never seen before. Ants their are huge and brown, they look disgusting. We climb up and down in the forest; every time we went back dirty and sweaty.  Although it was tiring, it was my favorite part in this trip. After all the suffering, we came to Singapore. Singapore is a small country. The longest ride we had is about half an hour. We went to malls, chatting with friends in the resort, and went to the Universal Studio. I had a lot of fun in this trip, I will not forget these twelve days ever!

Reflection of the news article

After reading the article of Lady Gaga gets garbled on Malaysian Radio, I can't see anything related to homosexuality in the lyrics: “I’m beautiful in my way / ‘Cause God makes no mistakes,”  the Malaysian are too sensitive!! This sentence may inspire everyone not ONLY homosexuality, if they wanted to pick holes in pop musics, it will last forever! There are too many songs that encourage people, of course they can perceive it as urging homosexuality, but it is unnecessary. I think they should care about other important issue rather than cavil at the music.

Reflection of King Lear

In the story, people hurt each other to get what they want. I think we should improve ourselves, but not beat others for their own profit. Just like Edmund, he told something bad to Gloucester try to destroy Edgar. This story ends up with tragedy, almost everybody died at  last even the good ones. I don't like to read tragedy because it makes me feel sad, but Shakespeare's story makes me shock.
